How on earth do you make a wedding cake that tastes good, but also serves your guest health needs? I know I could never attempt to make a wedding cake, let alone make it without using sugar. With all the concerns about sugar and what it does to one's body, you would think that companies that make your wedding cake would offer you an alternative to the normal sugar filled cake!
Just think of all the work that the bride goes through, dieting and such, just to get into her wedding dress in the first place. Then you have this wedding reception that causes her to pile on the pounds, all the cake and ice cream! You would think that they could come up with a wedding cake that is sugar free!
Perhaps a wedding cake could be made using Stevia as a sweetener, or maybe they could use the Splenda sweetener. I imagine such a wedding cake could be made, but they would probably charge an arm and a leg for it!
The next time someone in my family gets married, I am going to search out a company that makes wedding cakes that are sugar free. I'm sure that if I do an internet search, I can come up with a company that will make a wedding cake that is sugar free!
